VidToky ("we", "us") provides free tools to download publicly available video, photo and audio content from third-party platforms. This page explains what happens to your data when you use them.

What we collect

✓The link you paste. Used only to fetch the content you asked for. We don't store a history of submitted links tied to you.
✓Standard server logs. Like any website, our servers briefly log technical data such as IP address, browser type and request timestamps, used for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing errors.

What we don't do

✓No accounts or passwords — there's nothing to sign up for.
✓No advertising or analytics tracking cookies at this time.
✓We don't sell, rent or share personal data with third parties.
✓Downloaded files pass through our servers to your browser and are not retained afterward.

Cookie preferences

The cookie banner shown on your first visit isn't a tracking cookie — accepting or rejecting it just saves your choice in your browser's local storage, so we know not to show the banner again. Clearing your browser's site data will make it reappear. We currently don't set any tracking or advertising cookies regardless of which option you choose.

Third-party platforms

To fetch content, our servers make requests to the platform you're downloading from (e.g. TikTok, YouTube, Instagram). Those platforms may log that request under their own privacy policies, separate from ours. We don't control, and aren't responsible for, how they handle that data.

We may update this page as the service changes. Material changes will update the date above.
